Junior Rowing

Our Junior Section has two to three boats going out every Sunday, weather permitting. With the expansion of interest and junior membership we intend to extend junior rowing to evenings in the summer, as well as weekend sessions. We will attend some of the many Regattas on offer as well as three specific junior events: under 14’s in Hayle; under 16’s in Newquay and at our own Lyme Regis Gig Club Regatta held each year in August.

Skiff Rowing

The Gig Club a Cornish sea Skiff which is smaller than a Gig and will mean that children can start rowing from the age of 8.
