Welcome to the Lyme Regis Gig Club.
The aim of the L.R.G.C. is to offer the sport of Cornish Pilot Gig Rowing to anybody who wishes
to try ocean rowing, and by doing so, encouraging fitness and spirit within the community.
The club was officially formed in February 2007, and after a huge effort, our first gig,
Rebel, was launched on the 29th of June 2008.
Interest in the club has been phenominal, and in order for us to grow, we now need to raise
funds to commission a second gig, buy racing oars, build a boat shed, and purchase safety equipment.

BBQ on Saturday the 30th of August at the Power
Boat club, 7 pm start. All members welcome.

The club has a huge task ahead of it in order to raise the funds
needed for a boat shed, and our second gig.
